Incremental Education invites students, graduates, and young professionals who are passionate about working with children to apply for the USA Summer Camp Leaders Program.

This cultural exchange experience in the United States places you at a reputable summer camp where you will work as a Camp Counsellor. You will lead structured activities, support daily camp routines, and play an important role in ensuring the safety, well-being, and positive experience of campers throughout the program. Participants receive a stipend along with accommodation and meals for the duration of the camp placement.

Choreography / Dance
Personal Training / Fitness
Swimming Instructor
Lifeguard
Water Sports
Woodworking
As a Camp Counsellor, your role may include:
Facilitating fun, structured activities in your skill area
Supervising children and supporting their daily routines
Encouraging teamwork, confidence, and positive behaviour
Assisting with general camp operations and schedules
Maintaining a safe environment and responding responsibly to incidents
Representing South Africa through cultural exchange and daily interaction

Must be between the ages of 18 and 27
Minimum 6 months’ experience in your selected skill area
Proven experience working with and supervising children
Able to cover program fee, visa, and flight costs
Able to provide proof of experience
Ability to teach, supervise, and ensure camper safety at all times
Physically fit, adaptable, and comfortable in an active camp environment
Available for the full 9-week program from June 2026
